Do you offer long-term stays or discounts?

For information on long-term stays or available discounts, please contact our reception team directly to discuss your requirements.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • High & Peak Seasons: Free cancellation up to 15 days before arrival. Cancellations within 14 days incur a fee equivalent to the total booking tariff.
  • Low & Shoulder Seasons: Free cancellation up to 6 days before arrival. Cancellations within 5 days incur a fee equivalent to the total booking tariff. 

Where can I get a copy of your park rules & guest information?

You can view our guest information and park rules on our website. If you prefer a hard copy, please ask our friendly staff at reception upon arrival. 

What is your pet policy?

Pets are welcome during off-peak seasons (outside school holidays and long weekends) on sites only. Please note that all pets must be pre-approved before booking and are not permitted in park accommodation.

Is there free Wi-Fi available?

We offer free wireless internet throughout the park to keep you connected during your stay. 

Are there laundry facilities on-site?

Yes, we provide laundry facilities equipped with washing machines and dryers for guest use.

Is there a swimming pool or playground?

Yes, we feature a 22-metre resort-style heated swimming pool and a children's playground, perfect for families looking to relax and have fun. 

Is there a camp kitchen or BBQ area?

Absolutely! Our facilities include a camp kitchen, BBQ areas, and a games room, ensuring you have everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. 

Are linen and towels provided?

All our cabins come equipped with linen and towels. For guests staying on sites, please bring your own bedding and towels.

Do you have powered and unpowered sites?

Yes, we offer both powered and unpowered sites, including some of the largest in the region. Many sites come with ensuites, providing added convenience during your stay. 

What happens if I need to check in after-hours?

No worries! If you'll be arriving after our reception hours, please contact us beforehand so we can arrange a smooth check-in process for you

What are your reception hours?

Our friendly reception team is available daily from 9:00am to 4:00pm. If you anticipate arriving outside these hours, please contact us in advance to make the necessary arrangements. 

What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in: From 2:00pm for cabins and 11:00am for sites. Check-out: By 10:00am. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged, please just ask our friendly team.

Is Lakeside Forster Pet-Friendly?

Yes, Lakeside is a pet-friendly park, we allow dogs on our sites only. Please note dogs are welcome to stay with us outside of peak periods including, but not limited to school holidays, public holidays, and major events. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you and your dogs to stay, during quieter times. Wanting to bring your pet on holiday?  To book a stay with your dog, please contact our friendly team directly. Dogs are welcome by application at the time of booking, subject to the manager’s discretion.

What wildlife can we expect to see?

Dolphins, pelicans, sea eagles, fish, stingrays and — seasonally — humpback whales.

Is this a family-friendly holiday park?

Absolutely. The pool, playground, lake access and nearby beaches make it ideal for families.

Can we kayak or fish from the park?

Yes - with direct lake access, guests can paddle, fish or explore the shallows straight from the shoreline.

What dining options are in the area?

Forster–Tuncurry offers great cafés and restaurants including:

How close is the nearest supermarket?

Woolworths and Coles Forster are a 5-minute drive from the park.

What beaches are nearby?

Forster Main Beach, Pebbly Beach, Burgess Beach, Tuncurry Rockpool and One Mile Beach are all within 6–12 minutes.

Where can we go whale watching?

Whale-watching cruises depart from Forster Marina (7–10 minutes away), and you can often spot whales from local headlands during migration seasons.

How close is the lake?

Right there — the park borders the shoreline, with direct access to Wallis Lake.
